Contact Elena Bacchin

"I am interested in the transnational history of the 19th and the 20th centuries, with a specific focus on political actors, such as exiles, foreign fighters, and political deportees. The circulation of people, ideas, and practices across borders has influenced and shaped political mobilisation and commitment. This research allows us to better understand not only the interconnected world and the relationships that exist between its different parts, but also the impact of contacts, exchanges, and mutual influences." (Elena Bacchin)
