UNIVIE Awards

The University of Vienna bestows UNIVIE awards upon its staff whose achievements have been extraordinary. These awards should not only express the University’s appreciation but also showcase special improvements. Moreover, they are also intended to provide an incentive to future commitment.

Teaching Awards

With the Univie Teaching Awards, the University of Vienna emphasises the importance of teaching. The Teaching Awards honour outstanding teaching achievements and makes examples of successful teaching within the university and beyond visible to the public.

Univie Entrepreneurship Award

The Univie Entrepreneurship Award honours founders (in the making) for their innovative ideas.

Do you want to start a business and realise your own ideas as an entrepreneur? The University of Vienna and the alumni community invite you to the sixth Entrepreneurship Night: Successful University of Vienna founders will provide insights into their business ideas and explore the question of how we create inspiration. Masterclasses, an entrepreneurial networking trip and a marketplace of opportunities will inform and inspire future founders. This year's focus is on the topic of INSPIRATION.
